Alcoa City Schools Non-Discrimination Policy

It is the policy of the Alcoa City Schools to maintain a learning and working environment that is free from discrimination. The school system prohibits any form of discrimination on the basis of race, creed, national origin, sex, age, marital status, or disability in its
educational programs, activities, or employment practices in accordance with the requirements of Titles VI and VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, Title IX of the 1972 Educational Amendments, Section 504 of the 1973 Federal Rehabilitation Act, Title II of the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act, and the 1975 Age Discrimination and Employment Act.
