Tornado Club & Chicago Announcement
This year, for the very first time, students who participate in the Tornado Club will have the opportunity to go on the CHICAGO TRIP in May of 2008.
To join the Tornado Club a student must maintain a “B” average, teacher recommendation, or have perfect attendance. However, students in the Tornado Club must avoid discipline issues within the school. Membership Dues are required for Tornado Club members ($4.00) and we ask each member to purchase a T-shirt from the office ($10.00).
How about Chicago?
Chicago is a major Midwestern city in the United States. While in Chicago, students will enjoy tours of the city (Sears Tower, Lakeshore, American Girl, Lakeshore, Navy Pier, etc.); activities within the city (examples: Museum of Science and Industry, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum of Natural History); along with many evening activities (White Sox or Cubs baseball game, Broadway Play – “Wicked,” Blue Man Group performance, Medieval Times dinner show); and the group will spend a day in the Six Flags Great Adventure Theme Park in Chicago. In addition, we are still working on some more special activities that might be possible in Chicago.
Space is limited on the trip. So, the first individuals to make deposits will be guaranteed a spot on the trip.
